Well, it was as good a time as any to head to Nova Scotia for another visit. Though the timing of this one, February of 2013, wouldn't normally be a sane person's choice, there was a concert that we were interested in going to, so it was time to pack up the pups and head east.

The drive there was slowed by a snowstorm that started quite abruptly, and caused us to spend a couple of nights in Grand Falls (Grand Sault), New Brunswick. What was nice about that was that we ran into a friend who had to stop for the same reason. She and her nephew were headed in the opposite direction, from Chester, NS to Toronto. It brought us back together, and now Sarah has the long-sought excuse to pick up the game of bridge (heehee!) It also gave our friend an opportunity to get dog-snuggle time, something that she hadn't done since her pup died in September of 2012. She associates these cross-country trips as being taken with the pup, and this was her first without her own dog, and it felt like it was a bit cathartic for her.

But the trip was a good one, and as we have every other time that we've gone over the last couple years, we stayed at the Bedford Comfort Inn.
